Importance of The Right Early Years Education

The Scots College Rose Bay, Early Years Centre (Scots Rose Bay) nurtures and educates three and four year old boys whilst offering long day care in Rose Bay, in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs for working parents.

As a parent, choosing the right early learning or childcare centre for your son is very important. The choice you make will be your son’s first experience and introduction to education.

A Long Day Care Inspired by Reggio Emilia Education Philosophy

Scots Rose Bay is a place of adventure, growth and learning where our education philosophy is inspired by Reggio Emilia principles which models a partnership with children, teachers and parents. The aim of the program is to support the boys’ natural curiosity, eagerness to learn and their love of communication with others, in a nurturing childcare centre environment.

Scots’ learning environment is designed to provoke curiosity and constantly challenge boys’ thinking.

Facilities

Harnessing a boy’s natural curiosity and energy, our educational childcare program encourages each boy to explore and discover his world. Through the power of play, boys discover the letters, numbers, words and counting that form the foundations of literacy and numeracy. Scots Rose Bay also includes child-safe facilities such as:

  • Outdoor play area with soft fall areas
  • Open and undercover play areas
  • Sandpits
  • Age appropriate climbing and play equipment

A healthy and nutritious menu designed for growing, active boys is supplied by the College caterers. Food is included in the daily fee.
