The Scots College proudly marked two remarkable milestones with an unforgettable evening of celebration, community and school spirit – the spectacular Scots Tattoo and the official opening of the John Cunningham Student Centre.

This year holds special significance as the College commemorates the 125th anniversary of The Scots College Pipes and Drums. A breathtaking historical and theatrical event, the Scots Tattoo brought together military pageantry, stirring music, highland dancing and state-of-the-art special effects.

The evening began with a performance by the Massed Pipes and Drums, featuring Old Boys and OzScot Highland Dancers, setting a vibrant tone for the night. Spectators cheered through a lively sequence of events including the Preparatory School mini Rugby match, the Glengarry race and the Cadet tug of war. Musical highlights such as the Drummers’ Fanfare, Scots Tattoo Strings and Choir and dynamic dances ensembles from the Early Learning Centre, combined Preparatory Dance Companies and Senior Dance ensemble kept the audience enthralled. The night culminated in a moving performance by the Lone Piper and a thrilling fireworks display. This night was a powerful showcase of talent and heritage, leaving a lasting impression on students, staff, families, Old Boys and our esteemed guests.

The evening stood as a powerful testament of the College’s enduring values to honour the past while being committed to building for the future. The John Cunningham Student Centre promises to enhance Scots’ student experience, offering an environment designed for collaboration, innovation and pastoral care. Thank you to our generous donors for supporting Scots vision and investing in educational environments that truly support and nurture student flourishing. It was an honour to share this extraordinary evening with the Scots community. Please take a moment to enjoy this highlights video.
