Want to inspire and mentor Year 9 boys as they pursue an exciting residential quest at The Scots College?
Our Glengarry campus, is an extended stay and outdoor experiential education campus, located in the pristine Kangaroo Valley, two hours south west of Sydney. It provides a distinctive learning environment in which boys discover the tools they need to grow into fine young men.
Glengarry’s residential program is a unique, expansive experience that accelerates boys’ social development and it is renowned as a rite of passage into manhood.
Due to the expansion of our program for 2021 we are seeking an outstanding and experienced secondary Science Teacher to join our existing team.
This is a full-time position, commencing Term 1, 2021.
Essential Selection Criteria
- To demonstrate your quest for excellence and adventure by encouraging curiosity, creativity, personal growth, compassion and humour.
- Qualifications in Education majoring in Science and be registered with NESA.
- Have secondary teaching experience.
- Previous boarding/residential experience is desirable, along with an active interest in outdoor education activities and experiential learning.
Requirements for Working at Scots
All applications must demonstrate positive support for our Christian values and for being a part of the Presbyterian GPS (Great Public Schools) community. It is a requirement for all employees of the College to have valid working with children clearance.

As this is a residential campus, on-site accommodation can be provided, meals are included each day as is access to College facilities such as the gym. Outstanding professional development opportunities are also on offer.
